WOW. that is the most hypocritcal question i've ever heard. Especially if you became a vegetarian for ANIMAL RIGHTS. eating a dead animal is just as horrible as wearing one. honestly.
what is more important to you, wearing a dead cow for FASHION?
or saving an animals life?
and even people who are not vegetarians, should stay away from the "dead animal fashion" seriously. im sure you can find your style in FAKE leather & you'll feel good about it, too. because you didn't take someone's life from them to wear it as a damn coat.
animals that are used for fashion, fur, leather, whatever - are brutally murdered and treated. is it really worth that suite you've got?
have you ever actually thought about what an animal has to go through in order to give you that coat your wearing
JUST so you can look good???
more to come i gotta go get a couple videos for you and whatnot dont worry im not done
peace & love

Depends on your reason for being a vegetarian. If you just prefer veggies over meat then I don't think it's problem. If you're a vegetarian because you object to harming animals in any way, then that would make you a hypocrite.

Leather is the skin of an animal which has been tanned. You are allready covered in skin. Just not tanned. Either way you are wearing a suit made of skin..I think whether youi wear one on top of your skin or just your skin you still are wearing skin..which is an oxymoron no matter what you do

I only manage to convince my veggie daughter to sit on our leather suite by pointing out to her that the chairs are older than her, and the cows would have died of old age by now anyway.

Most people are vegetarian because they don't believe in killing animals. So, just because you're not eating it, dosen't make a leather suit OK. An animal still had to die to make it.

A long time ago, when people hunted their food and wore animal skins to keep warm was one thing, but raising animals for the sole purpose of wearing them or eating them is not something vegetarians believe in. (I'm not one BTW)

I think the whole point in being a veggie is because you care about animals and their right to life...so yes that'd be wrong.

It depends on why you're vegetarian. If you're vegetarian for health reasons, it seems perfectly fine. If you're vegetarian because you are morally against eating animals, then you're most likely a hypocrit.
