There is nothing new about webcams. They have been around for many years. It's much like video conferencing on your computer. You can see someone via their cam and vice versa. These cameras are very common and many computers today come with free cams.

Some people get naked on their cam and that is probably why your friends warned you.

Also, it's a bad idea for kids to go on cam because it can expose you to possible danger with predators.

Be careful.

Webcam is not new but not everybody have it because they are not cheap and they find that it can be a waste of money.

You can convert your webcam into a Live security camera.

Latest webcam provides up to 3 megapixel with a 30 frame shutter rates.

You have to buy a special thing called a webcam, and whatever programs you need to install come with it.

Nothing bad happens... You're just able to be seen my your friends and you can take pictures with it as well. Some people just don't want to be seen by their friends' parents if they have a webcam or maybe they want to do something with their webcam that they don't want your parents to see. Or maybe they want you to do something with it that your parents would think of as inappropriate?
