Well, I'm sure as you know there are many different types of metal... different instruments, style of lyrics such as normal, high pitch, low growl, screaming, themes of the songs.
Here are a few to get you started.. I put a good song beside each one to help you, as well as a youtube link. This is just a taste of these bands, there are many many great songs by these. My personal favourite bands are Dragonforce, Finntroll, Ensiferum and Metallica. I tried to include a broad range of metal for you.
