What would the people recycle during World War 2? Please give me websites Or answers, Thank You.

Almost Anything can be recycled Nylons were asked for to make Parachutes. Even the Drippings from your meat. The grease was used for making Nitro Glycerin and Gun power. Scrap Metal and Rubber as well. Anything that can be reused to make weapons, ships, planes, and other war goods.

I don't know about the recycling, but my Grandmother talks about not having nylons. She used to draw the lines up the back of her legs to make it look like she had stockings on.

Im not sure about everything, but any scrap metals, even tin foil and their car tires, if a family had their car on cinder blocks it showed the familys support as well.
