Your question isn't one of elemental difference, but perhaps one of simple population density, splaying of collateral debris, or design. Design meaning: A small bomb covered in nails will kill more people than a larger bomb without.

Nuclear bombs do no longer implode, opposite to what the different poster mentioned. the version is that Nuclear bombs do no longer "explode" unavoidably...they react. Dynamite (many times stated as TNT or Trinitrotoluene), is a substance relatively made to be explosive, yet additionally as good as possible. surely it fairly is a compound that has explosive characteristics (which skill, a spark or hearth would desire to set it off) yet good in any different case (which skill basically shaking it or dropping it won't make it circulate growth). popular explosives blow up surely from the capability of the spark/hearth and that capability reasons expansion. think of in the way the pinnacle of a tournament sparks up once you strike it against the field. surely a similar on a lots smaller scale. Nuclear weapons are *extensively* diverse. Nuclear weapons react in a lots diverse way. many times, a radioactive ingredient (uraniam is an exceedingly straightforward one in weapons) is blended with an exceedingly risky ingredient (something like Hydrogen). earlier the "explosion" the climate are saved one after the different. whilst the bomb is meant to circulate off, the membrane meant to cut up the two the two burns away or retracts, inflicting the climate to have interplay. the two components combine *VIOLENTLY* and reason very quickly and extremely unfavorable expansion. the only reason there is residual radioactivity in the section for the destiny is by way of the ingredient used in the explosion.

I know they both employed different detonation technology. Little Boy was detonated by a shaped charge fired into a uranium core. Fat Man was a shperical implosion charge.
Perhaps the detonation method had an effect. I believe both were detonated at an altitude of 200 feet above the cities. Regardless of casualties, they did the job.

uranium 534 and uranium 568 was used as a nuclear bomb and hiroshima and nagasaki was bombed by it
plutonium is also used in nuclear weapons but not really destructive than uranium
it depends on how many people there are in the village or city

Very simple. Uranium is the last natural element (92) though naturally radioactive. Plutonium is one of the artificial elements beyond 92 (all radioactive) and even more dangerous

It depended on how many people were in the vicinity at the time, not the relative power of each bomb.
Now imagine it happening in your town. Would you be bothered which type it was ?
