Take a sample of about 100 young people around my neighborhood. The recognizable ones are: Converse Chucks, Adi Superstars, Nike AF1s, Nike Bball shoes, and believe it or not, Crocs. In fact, I've seen more Crocs than those mentioned.

At my school, the raging trend are the Rocketdog tennis shoes/sandals. They're the type that appear to have shoe laces, yet they're really just these spandex straps that run across the top of the shoe. They come in the most unique designs (they are really cute) and almost everyone I know owns a pair. I have a pair of the multi-colored plaid ones, and I got so many compliments the first day I wore them (and still today) that I didn't know what to do with myself. <3

A ton of girls at my school wear 'Birkenstocks' or however they are spelled. Brown cloth clogs. They aren't bad looking, but cost well over a hundred dollers, and I think it's not worth it.
