This is not a trait but a characteristic. You obviously are dealing with something big in your life. You have to remember that it is you who is dealing with it, not others (unless it affects them). If you ask for advice, ask one whom you know will take you seriously and care. If you do not, you will be brushed off one way or another. It is a strange thing these days that one would look at themselves and care to notice these thoughts. Do not even think of giving it away because of something someone else thinks. It is between you and you.

are you presenting your thoughts and opinions to others in an annoying way? if so, then yes.
if not; there's nothing wrong with having ideas on religion, etc. it shouldnt be an annoying trait.

I believe that depends on the company you keep. It doesn't bother me. I rather enjoy comtemplating these things.
