if superman ate kryptnonite he would have 5 hours to live until he has to crap it out, when he is on the toilet he would grab on to something and push that kryptonite out, and then would die of internal injuries from the sharpness of the kryptonite

if he eats green kryptonite he will eventually die b/c that is his achilles heal. eating your poison will obviously kill you.
if he eats red kryptonite, he will become his alter-ego. Someone who he's always wanted to be, but he repressed because he lacks the courage to be like that.

If it is green kryptonite it will kill him if it is another color kryptonite it will have what ever effect that color kryptonite has on him.
