I use Demon, they do have help desk in Bangalore, but they are helpful and seem to keep records. I only ever had a few initial problems with set-up when I switched to Broadband and have found them pretty good

i think fast.co.uk has non indian help line. But now days most Broadband providers set their calll centres in India because they are a lot cheaper to run there. I prefer call centres for Broadband providers to remain in India because it will help people in india to get jobs in the call centre and a lot cheaper for broadband providers in UK because they have to pay people in India less wages compared to here. And I think people working in indian call centres are much polite, sensible and helpful aswell. Well you cant blame the indian call centres for sending you around circles from one person to another in India because they are just following their given rules or you are probably just asking questions which they cant do anything about it. So please do think again. Its the same thing here in Uk as well, the people who work in call centres in UK are very similar to the ones in India too because they are give the same training. Even here in UK, people working in call centres just keeping on transffering your call to other person. Trust me its the same story everywhere!!!! To tell you the truth all broadband providers now have call centres in india except for some smaller broadband providing companies which have theirs here but they are not as good as Big Broadband Providers such as BT, AOL, Orange etc.

I had the same problem - go for NewNet (www.newnet.co.uk). It's a bit more expensive - but the quality you get - it's worth it! And customer service is in UK. I have it now for 6 months and I'm well happy.
