I'm 16 and running out of time for the kiddie boyfriend songs

Having a friend in Nashville for 25 years I have one answer; Tenacity and talent. Absent either then you may consider another career.
I'm told by my buddy that Nashville, like any entertainment center has Mega talent all over the place; the trick is sticking with it, not giving up and making connections that help you with big exposure. Any business is about the same.
Kenny Chesney went to Nashville and was talented, this guy went door to door working anyplace he could play, anyplace, he eventually bumped into the right connection and made it as a star. Ricky Van Shelton was the same way, talent and always moving, talking.
I would start with having talent, develope it, have a pro voice coach work with you, spend the money as it's worth it. Then find a signing job, yeah, a job, thats what it is.:)

If you want to be a rapper recording artist, Get shot or go into a coma.
If you want to be a singing recording artist, get naked and learn to dance like you are going break something.

the secret's to flow to college and school. study it, study english and study a lot greater.. im being honest and im offering effective advice, you could no longer stay off fake wish or a single written hit any way. attempt and be sensible by way of fact sooner or later, and specific previous to you think of you will keep in mind my words.

start buying your own recording equipment and a computer w/some recording software(pro-tools if you got the cash, Sony Acid pro if you want to get the feel for it) and go to town...if you got what it takes you might make a demo that gets noticed if not...you tried.
