There are 2 ways of doing it by train, Directly on Central Trains Liverpool Lime Street to Birmingham New Street. Or Go on a Virgin Trains Service to Crewe and change to Central train to Birmingham New Street. There should be direct National Express Coaches but not sure on frequency.

catch london train (virgin) to Birmingham new street then change for Nea. or catch central to Norwich passes through B New St or can catch train to crewe where you will be able to catch train to Nea.

Coach take national express to Birmingham, then have to find buses.

i prefer train
