Frankly, you don't need a degree----remember that many actors start as children, and also that Paris Hilton (although a bad actress) didn't even graduate from high school. However, a Theatre Arts major may be helpful to you if you want to pursue a degree.

It doesn't hurt to study acting in college, (and optionally singing and dancing too) but whether you study it or not, you need to audition. An agent can help you find roles to audition for.
Usually you need some photos of yourself and a resume saying what acting or performing experience you have (school plays, musical theatre, comedy improv, choir solo, etc).
Be careful though, some agents are not trustworthy, so try and find recommendations of good agents, either online or through experienced local actors. You'll probably start out as an extra or doing other non-speaking parts.

None - you can skip all schooling entirely. Most actors/actress' today have degrees, but a large number still have never even finished high school.

none, but a degree will ensure your future success and will show potential employers that you didn't gamble your whole life on the pipe-dream which is Hollywood. Have a back up plan if you don't make it (besides becoming a whore). lol

None and none. There are no requirements, although many actors have degrees in Theater or Film related fields.
