Actually, 93611 around Clovis is a good one. my cousin lives there and they have good prices on homes, great schools, just the heat and air quality are bummers.

Thousand Oaks is generally ranked the safe city in So. Cal. You pay for that safety.

Simi Valley is okay, too. A lot of cops live there.

It's a myth that Beverly Hills is really safe. While you may not be shot by a gang-banger, there are plenty of robberies.

I live in Burbank, I read the local paper. Killings are rare, but they do happen. There is gang activity, too. However, break-in's, car theft and the like are not uncommon. I however, have experienced no problems in that regard, knock on wood.
