in the general electric comeercials there are some pictures that flash very fast at the end of the commercial. I can make out something with a red curtain like a stage set up and there is some text.

Stristly speaking, if you are aware of the blipvert at all, then it's not really subliminal, is it? If you go to the trouble of finding out what it says, then the advertisers have accomplished their goal, which was to force you to investigate their advertisement. Don't let the bastards win!
