I'm supposed to write a bible lesson but there is so many to choose from! Please help... I'm looking for something along the lines of Having Joy, Keeping Christ in Your Life, The Beatitudes or something like that. Something that is common, easy to research, simple, and wont take long. What do you suggest?

The best lesson that I ever learned is the story of the Good Samaritan. In this day and age, we are struggling to find the core values of Christ in our lives. Too many young people today are not aware that God wants us to help others at any cost, any effort and for as long as it takes.

Too many of us are in a hurry to help ourselves, so we fail to notice those behind us who are starving, struggling and hurt. The Good Samaritan is the most important lesson that we could share with young people since they are so unaware of the parable.

Write a lesson on the Golden Rule and show what very similar rules are included in other religions.

The only thing that makes sense to me now, from my own background, is bearing the cross.
Even kids need to see that some things are unfair, but we take them up anyway, and we keep getting up again.
And there will be someone to help.
And then we get to rise again and be loved!
