I totally agree! She may haved paved the way for African American models but most of her shows seem to draw back to her. We should write a letter to Tyra saying how much we love her and how she tries to help everyday women but make her aware of how she is coming off to some of her audiences. I'm trying to find a way to write to her on tyrashow.com

HELLO! Of course she's self centered. She's a model, even though she claims to be retired from the profession. Models make money showing themselves off, I'm sure it went to her head after being on so many magizine covers.

It's always about her. Every conversation she has she turns the tables and makes it about her. For her tribute to black history month, there's a lot more significant things that black people have done other than to be the first bikini model to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated. She needs to be knocked off her golden pedestal.

She's a little full of herself.
She acts like it's supposed to change every woman's life when she admits that she...*gasp*... gets cellulite, too.
As if everyone thought she was perfect or something before. LMAO.

I've noticed the same thing with Oprah. Have you ever noticed how someone can be talking, and Oprah will talk over the person to get her point across? Then everyone applauds. I don't get it...I thought the point of talk shows (the serious ones) was to hear different viewpoints.

ninety 9% of human beings have a minimum of a touch racism in them. regrettably, it extremely is a flaw in human nature. Tyra is in basic terms showing the undeniable fact that she isn't suited in each and every thing she says and does. She is in basic terms specializing in what's substantial to her. of course, she would not think of that whites want her help as much as minorities do...

She is a product of our culture which is very self centered and ME oriented. SHe has had some great shows but I get really annoyed with the stupid beauty secrets and make up blah blah stuff. Keep it real is what I think, not the trendy garbage stuff that teaches people that being beautiful is everything.

She is American - what do you expect? I cannot stand the black card trick. I have never understood black women want to single themselves out so much? the first black woman to do this, the first black woman to do that - forget the colour of your skin and get on with your life. Anyone can achieve great things if they have the determination - black or white.
