If you are breastfeding it may not come as long as you nurse. You still could become pregnant so be careful about that. If you are bottlefeeding it should return within a few months after childbirth.

My daughter was 5 months when I got my period back. I knew someone who's baby was 10 months before she got hers back. We were both breastfeeding, so that has some effect on it, too. I've heard that if you're not, you get it back sooner. It's different for everyone, though. Oh, and even if you haven't gotten it back yet, you may ovulate beforehand, so you could still get pregnant again.

It took about 12 weeks with the first one and about 8 weeks with the second one. My sis is BrstFd'ing and she just got her's after 8 months. So it all depends on your body. Be grateful it hasn't showed up yet. :)

I have a 10 week old and nothing so far in that area. If you are breastfeeding it may not come at all until you stop. ENJOY!

It can take several weeks. If you are breast feeding, don't expect your period to come back for several months or until after you wean.
