Im one drill team now for 3 years and i love it! When you audition make sure you have great facials. flirt with the judges (smiling winking ...). Also, on the kick section, don't worry so much about the height of the kicks. Just make sure that you are using good technique. point your toes, dont hunch, prep with your feet together, keep your legs straight, and make sure your feet are NOT turned out. On the jazz section just have fun with it. They like seeing individual style and favor the girls that stand out. Make sure you are still sharp though. As for when they ask to see your splits, if you dont quite have them, don't worry. Its not required to get accepted, just helpful. Plus, the adrenaline you'll get will make them sooo much closer, trust me, auditions were the first time i completely nailed mine. so good luck! :)

make sure you have a solid double, extend your legs in your leaps, always smile and lift your chest, Judges pay a lot of attention to the your upper body, performance, and sharpness. Make sure you are not sloppy, and if you mess up just keep smiling and keep moving until you get back on. Good Luck!!
