I don't really blame them. For all the whining we do here, we forget that people are willing to risk their lives to come here. If you could win the lottery, but to do so, you would have to make use of an unfair advantage, wouldn't you?
The problem is what makes it so attractive. First, it's not that hard, and it should be more difficult. Border agents get thrown in prison when they are too forceful. Second, we are raising minimum wage and it's already above what the market is willing to pay for some jobs. Bush calls them jobs that Americans are unwilling to do, when really they are jobs that aren't able to be done at the price our labor is willing to do it. Therefore, illegal immigrants come in and underbid our labor force. That will just get worse as minimum wage increases. We are a spoiled culture, really. Meanwhile, why are there still unemployed? I digress - third, once they get here they have access to priveleges from our ever-increasingly socialist federal government that they would never get at home. This is even more true if they have a child on our soil. Again, if I lived in Mexico and wanted a family, I would do the same. We need to enact stricter policies.
Then, did you see that the Mexican government registered a complaint that where we were building a wall, we had equipment 10 meters on their soil? How insane! We issued an apology for it! Other countries have certainly figured out how to take advantage of our hyper-sensitive culture.

by way of fact they did intentionally violate the regulation. They weren't abducted and further around the border against their will. They knowingly and willingly broke US regulation. There are criminal channels for immigration. in the event that they're undesirable and shortage training that's MEXICO'S fault, no longer ours! it won't substitute into our project the two! sure the illegals want reform because's a loose cost ticket to experience with each little thing given to them. There are not any industries dependant at a budget hard artwork, in hassle-free terms industries whose GREED makes them call for low priced hard artwork. The persons interior the hundreds of families utilising illegals could desire to be arrested and punished additionally. Breaking the regulation is breaking the regulation.

Go see APOCALYPTO, by Mel Gibson. Their culture has no laws. The Spanish arrived in South America and Mexico only about 500 years ago. The movie shows what these people were like up until that point. They do not understand the word "boundaries." Therefore, a river, and even a wall will not stop them.

People do what they have to, to survive. If the Federal Government would govern the people of the United States of America instead of running a war to make the world safe for massive corporate conglomerates, we wouldn't have an immigration issue.

it would be better if they did it legally like all the others. one way to do it would be to accept them, put them in the army, serve a hitch in the army, send them to iraq, and make them a citizen when and if they come back. however, whatever happened to the saying on the statue of liberty or somewhere that says, give me your poor, your downtrodden etc. i dont remember it all, but you get the idea. lotsa pros and cons.

Maybe because they think that feeding themselves and their families is more important than the artificial borders people put up to make people on one side "superior" and people on the other side "inferior."
Nationalism is akin to racism. You are no better or more deserving of wealth because you were born in the US than you are if you were born in Mexico.

if you only knew what its like to live in these atrocious places you would feel compassion towards these people. and to be so desperate to even risk living to get here. i have experience in the ways its done and dying is a real possibility when you put them in spots that are unable to get out of on their own. put yourself in their shoes and be compassionate.

Because you have NO RIGHT to tell them they can't. How would you like it if you had to mow your own lawn, or clean your own house. They come here because you don't want to do the "dirty" work yourselves.
