Why are we in Iraq when anyone can walk across the southern border. Is there no war on terror there?

In this so-called "War on Terror" there is no profitable angle in securing the border with Mexico.

Iraq and Mexico do share something in common, though: Neither one has a single thing to do with a war on terror.

Because the war on terror is just a myth. It's a way to win votes by scaring the crap out of Americans, and wage war for oil in the Middle East at the same time. They keep the Mexican border open because they want the cheap labor.

Illegal immigrants represent a cheap labor pool. Big money wants them here.

They don't complain about dangerous working conditions or lack of health benefits or retirement.
American workers know their rights and it is costly for companies to employ Americans.

I will say they are, for the most part, very hard workers. But for the cons to say they do work that Americans won't is only partly true.
Americans won't do it as cheap as illegals. Offer ten bucks an hour for a job that should pay twenty, only illegals will take it.
Then the hiring company can say "No Americans were willing to do it"
Bottom line, it's the money.

I don't know. I do think that we should worry about Mexico as a threat to our nation, not only as a terrorist threat, but as an economic threat. We lose a rediculous amount of money and jobs to the illegals every year.

You're kidding me, right? If you secured the Mexican border, you would decimate the economy of my state (Texas). We need those illegals desperately, or living here would be like living in Boston (yuck)!

For some reason Mexicans don't scare me. The Canadians don't either. The terrorists scare me!

I guess they figure if they send troops to the border and one of them gets killed, that the America Media and libs , will say it's a lost cause and to pull the troops out before another one gets killed, regardless of the fact that illegal immigrants are killing more Americans than the terrorists are. last I saw it was around 14,000 Americans killed by illegal immigrants up to last year
