I don't like to go up to people and say hi or whatever, i'm really shy and afraid how people will react when I say that. And, how do I get noticed?

I've had that problem also this year. I was given advice to not stand outside and wait for someone to talk to me, but to go up and talk to someone. It will feel a little awkward at first, but if you continue to talk to them, maybe a friendship will emerge.

i have a partially antisocial problem, and i was told just to hang around with the people who are there, no matter if you dont talk, or if you think they may not want you there. if you are with people slightly closer to you, blurt out random little things you wouldnt normally say, like "you have no idea what happened to me on the bus yesterday!" and start telling them...it seems affective.
to be noticed- take notice. stand up tall and just listen to the conversation around you, and dont lurk in the background- stand there, with everyone. it will make your presence clear.

I say just be yourself. But how would you get notice if you dont say anything. The best way to start a conversation is a smile. :)

maybe join some clubs, that's a way to meet people who have the same interests as you. and hey you can even borrow a pencil from someone that's a start lol

i got the best awnser for u just dont care. when you met new ppl dont care what they think and ull do fine. cuc if u do ull worry so if u relax and dont care ull be fine

YOU JUST HAVE TO LOOK UP AND TOWARDS THEM AND SMILE IF THEY ACCEPT YOU THEY WILL SMILE BACK OR SAY HELLO THATS ALSO ANOTHER WAY IS TO SAY HELLO TO EVERYBODY SOMEBODY WILL ACKNOWLEDGE YOU
