I see him as a Thomas Jones type. Low center of gravity and a very tough runner. Adequate speed but definitely not a burner. I think he'll have the same type of career as well.

I am an Ohio State fan but as with most Michigan players that have been in the draft, Mike Hart is very well coached. I'm sure that he would be great in the NFL.

In the right system, yes. Hart strikes me as a guy who would do well with the Denver Broncos and their one-cut type of running. He has great vision and can move the pile, but he lacks breakaway speed. In a system like Denver's (or Houston or anyone else who uses zone blocking), Hart can be fed the ball 20-30 times a game and get his 100-140 yards. He could be a quality back, but probably not a superstar.

He should be good immediately in the NFL. To put up big numbers he'll have to go to a team with a good offensive line of course. He's strong, patient waiting for the hole, and doesn't fumble. Maybe not elusive or fast as some, but they said that about Emmitt Smith on draft day as well.

Is he in the draft this year? The only Michigan RB listed on Scout.com is Jerome Jackson, and he's considered to be a likely undrafted free agent.

Yes and one more year in college will make him all the better. He's a Top 5 selection in the 08 draft barring injury.

Yes. He's a solid back that rarely fumbles. He deosn't have breakaway spped but most backs don't these days.
