Bartman didn't ACCIDENTALLY touch anything. That ball was past the wall, and therefore in the stands. It was fair game for any and all fans. It was absolutely the correct call, and the Cubs still had the time and the opportunity to win that game. They didn't, and they had and have only themselves to blame.

Steve Bartman, who was doing what any other baseball fan would do in that situation. It's a shame how he was made the scapegoat for yet another Cubs disappointment.

Steve Bartman and it wasn't an accident. He meant to try to catch the ball just like any other baseball fan would have tried to do. It's just like loser Cub fans to blame one of their own on their misfortune. Here's to another 100 yrs without a championship.
