It's standard practice for pregnant women to get an ultrasound at around 20 weeks. Not only is it to make sure everything is developing ok, but you can also ask to find out the sex of the baby. If your doctor hasn't told you to get one, you may want to ask the next time you go or even call to office and ask if your next appointment's a way off. It would be strange if he hasn't mentioned it already...my doctor gave me a prescription to have one done at my 15 week checkup last week.

Go to the doctor. Your doctor should have scheduled one at 4 months. If you don't have a doctor, find one. If it is because your uninsured, sign up for state maternity insurance and see a doctor.
