We all know what would happen every minority would start to protest and be outraged saying that whites are racist....Just think about it. Every time a race matter is brought up its seems to be the same old thing, whites against the world. Even though whites are the minority of the world. So who is the joke really on?
Instead of a White / Black / Native American month there should just be a month in honoring Special events and people that made a diff. from all race...

I think a lot of Americans would see it as a waste of time. Our entire education system amounts to a 'White History Year'. Black History Month doesn't work perfectly, but it is needed. White History Month is not. Caucasians are not underrepresented or underappreciated in our history or our society. It would be nice if history textbooks confronted racism and its current place in our society a little more, but 'reverse racism' is a load of crap. White Americans are financially better off, and more likely to get a job even if there are just as qualified blacks (see source). White History Month is rubbing racism and slavery in the face of black students, and it would be making the subtle biases of our society explicit.

You should really be asking what is the point of having a black history month, wouldn't it just be easier to mix in the important parts of it with all the other history stuff. I mean not all of the stuff which they teach and point out as so important in black history month has any real standing on the rest of history or life. So what if a black person invented peanut butter someone else invented stuff which is just as if not more important. Black history month just doesn't seem as important now that blacks aren't the main minority in the US.

First of all, you'd have to determine how you'd define "White". There's Anglo Saxon and Anglo etc.. but no true white. The only absolute true white is the Pillsbury Dough Dude but even then he's celebrated every morning. Go have a biscuit on him.

I think a lot of people that have nothing better to do would freak and and protest, but I think there should be one. There should also be something like a United Cracker College Fund. lol

White people already get more reverence in history than they deserve. You should hear the way some history books portray Native American Indians - it's horrible.

why bother making that as a month when everyone learns about white history in school. we learn about europe explorations in america, the crusades, jesus, religion, food-all of that. White history month would be pointless, thats my opinion and people would probably think the same way.
