Raise the power head and remove after diconnection belt. Put the shampooer together, place on front of Kirby......turn nozzle so belt is now on the roller. Lower Kirby all the way down and put in tech drive. Remove bag from Kirby and attach the shampoo/water tank to side. Take the small hose and attach it to tank then place other end in middle of tray. Turn on, lay suds, let suds penetrate for 5-10 minutes, turn suds of and vaccuum back over area. Please note to only use the Kirby shampoo as it is the only thing to use for best results.

You need to buy the shampoo specifically made for the Kirby, and then attach the shampooer to the machine.

start by plugging it in, and then turning it on, then once its on you simply just squeeze the trigger and it would squirt out water on the floor and then let go of the trigger and it would suck up the water just as long as you go over the spot you've drenched with water and thats a short version of how to use it....... (CHECK OUT THE MANUAL)
