Bill Russell and Sam Jones.

Both top 50 players, both Hall of Famers.

Played together for 12 years. Won 10 rings.

Sam holds the record for most points scored in a game 7, with 47 (against Oscar Robertson)... in terms of clutch shooting, he was the Reggie Miller/Larry Bird of the pre-ESPN days.

Ten rings is better than six.

Get real...Its Jordan and Pippen...6 NBA Championships...I would say Kobe and Shaq are probably #2...Shaq and D. Wade are probably going to get to #3...Stockton was probably the best point guard ever...(Jordan was a shooting guard by official position)...but Stockton and Malone couldn't win a championship...

Jordan and Pippen. Jordan is arguably the best player ever and Pippen has been an all star a few times.

Simple, Jordan and Pippen...Pippen was the ultimate role player and Jordan was Jordan. They won 6 championships with players that were good, but not that good. Best Duo ever

abdul-jabbar and magic. abdul-jabbar is arguably the best center ever (i'd rank him 2nd or third but still) and magic was the best point guard ever. those two would make a ymca rec team competitive in the nba. a team with those two instantly has two guys who are practically unguardable

all the ones you said and also Karl Malone and John Stockton. In a few years, Amare Stoudemire and Steve Nash.
