The best without any doubt. He continually reinvents himself. His technique is flawless. His abilities are endless. Rocking out for over 30 years and getting better. He should be #1 on any list.

I saw Neal Peart do his YYZ solo 3 times live! The way he would hit the bells while doing a drum solo (not to mention the entire drum set was rotating around) was unbelieveable. Props to you for bringing this up. Rush Rulz!

He is by far the best drummer that ever lived, or ever will!!!!

one of the greatest defanitly its not that hes fast because he defanitly is but its that he knows how to use his speed he can solo you can tell that by listening to the rhythm method but he knows how to use solos to benefit the song not show off and his beats are increadable such as tom sawyer in 7/8 i also like his experimentation with time signatures overall the band is a great band too geddy lee phenomenal bassisst and keyboardist there all great writers

Top 3 indefinitely!!

Ever seen the man's solo? In recent times he's stood and his drum set rotates around him and he doesn't miss a beat. Brilliant.
