There is a possibility that Russia will move in and counter attack for Irans sake. I know China is also allied with Russia, but China has allied themselves with the United States as well. So, in order to protect Chinas economical position they will probably fund it, but Russia and Syria will be implementing it. Don't take my word for it. It is only a possibility not a fact.

Well, Iraq is already developing into a regional war with Iranian factions funding and arming Shiites. And, Saudis are arming Al queda and Sunni's who are attacking U.S soldiers and Shiites with American made munitions. What can go wrong? An all out regional warfare involving Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Israel, Syria, Jordan, Pakastan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia and Al Queda. That's what.

Our image around the world would be irreperably damaged, even more so than it is now.

More radical, violence driven youths will take aim at our country.

Billions more will be spent on war rather than on domestic problems.

The country will become even more divided then it is now.

Hundreds of thousands of innocent Iranians will be killed.

Our own soldiers will find themselves in another Catch-22.

Etc., etc., etc.

Not a whole lot when you really think about it...

-Oil wont be an issue, we dont get the majority of our oil from Iran, we get it from the Gulf and Saudi Arabia. Prices will jump at the beginning because of a scare but will bounce back like when 9/11 happened.
-We wont loose; Israel will not tollerate a lose like the Dems in Congress. And an Iran War wont be like Iraq like other people have answered; it wont be an occupation, it will be more of a bomb the f*ck out of them/no survivors kind of war. A total war, like the Pacific War during WWII.
