It's still about the Aussie guy (I'm Italian) http://it.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070219054434AA6flI7

Well, yesterday we met, and basically he said that it was really hard for him not to see me for two weeks (it was my choice) and that he doesn't want me to cut him off my life and that he wants to see me often and be friends, and keep going to his parents' house with him and to his parents' friends'... and he also said that he couldn't stand seeing me with someone else (that I'm not even looking for).

And he wanted to be hugged, at the end, but I couldn't do that.
If you read the previous question you have all the story... and now tell me what you think about it, because honestly, I really don't know what to think.

It sounds to me like he still wants contact but not the relationship. He cares about you - but if it were more, he would have told you so...

Appreciate your friendship and leave it at that. If sometime down the road, it turns into more again, great. If not, you still have a good friendship and your time over there won't be lonely.

From looking at your previous question about him, it looks like he said it: he's not ready for a commitment. So don't think about him that way. He wants to keep things open so he can see other people. That's what not wanting a commitment translates to.
Of course, that doesn't mean he would like you see other people. Selfish, yes! Don't go along with that.
This isn't a serious guy for you to be involved with.
