i am a catholic.
and i think it is ok that if you are raped or if your life or the life of the baby is in danger it is ok to get an abortion.
but i think that if an unmarried teenage girl has sex and becomes pregnant she should be ready for a baby because that is what sex is pretty much for to create a life. even if sometimes it dosnt happen.
its stupid to have sex which MAKES A BABY and then kill it like u dont want it..UMMMMM HELLO IF U DONT WANT THE BABY THEN WHY DID YOU HAVE SEX??!?!? i just think that it is really stupid to have an abortion in that situation..
give me your opinion on this.....
please and thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a practicing Christian and believe that abortion should be made legal because children who won't get the love, and care they need in life, shouldn't be brought into this world. We have too many people in this world today that didn't get the love, and care that they needed when they were young. They will continue to suffer every day of their lives and cause many problems for other people.

It is true that people that don't want children do have sex and do produce babies, but that isn't something that can be changed unless these people want to change. From personal experience I can say "You can't change someone unless they want to be changed!"

Ideally I agree with you.
Unfortunately, I hate the thought of children being born unwanted. Not all children have grandparents or other family that can or will raise them. These unwanted children face a very hard and unfair life.
Having a child should be a responsibility proudly taken.
Having a child should not be a punishment.

Pro-Abortion

2 more cents if you will...
I believe if it harms no one, then let it be. I don't have any memories while I was in a womb. I don't know anyone else who does. Therefore with respect to to killing and pain only, I don't think the fetus will suffer.

Finally I will end with a respectful bow with regards to this very sensitive issue.

I agree that if a girls old enough to have sex she should have the common sense to know she could get pregnant but things happen and i believe every female has the choice to do what she believes is right think of all the children out there who get raped every day by their moms drug addict boyfriend or get beat by their drunken mother maybe if the woman had decided to get an abortion that child would be in heaven with god then in hell here on earth.

I think that it is very narrow minded to think that sex is only to make a baby - there is more to it than that. Between two adults there is an intimacy that is brought into a relationship. By your account those who can not have children shouldn't have sex at all.

Those who are not ready for the responsibility of children should abstain or atleast use protection.

If a baby is the result of irresponsibility - then a woman should consider placing the baby with a loving family.

I am against abortion for three reasons. One because only ALLAH has the right to take a life away not humans. Two it is against my religion except if the mother could die from going through the rest of the pregnancy. And three because the baby didn't do anything wrong to die. It's not the baby's fault that the parents made a mistatake and had sex without protection.

1st. im voicing my opinion. YES i know that abortion means to kill an unborn baby. BUT, which would you rather have? a child who is anywhere from a newborn to 3 yrs old to be put in an agency and never know who their real father or mother was? and what if they cant find a family? ive heard of places that (sometimes) keep the kid until theyre a legal age and then send them out on their own. OR (somehow) save the baby by killing it? (i know that in its own way its wrong)

2nd. OR dont have sex or wear protection

To me it's okay to have an abortion at one time and 1 time only -
If you are having several babies and it's either have an abortion on 1 or 2 of the babies and the others will be healthy or keep them all and they will all be to small to live. Only then is it ok. Any other time, ADOPTION HOMES!
For me, I would never ever be able to have an abortion.

It’s never acceptable to kill an innocent human being. Would you kill a one-year-old because her father was a rapist? If not, why is the child in the womb fair game? Is she less worthy of life than the rest of us because of the circumstances of her conception? Should children be punished with violent death for the crime of their fathers?

Furthermore, abortion only increases the grief and trauma of a woman who has been raped. Abortion does not erase the fact of the rape, but only causes the mother to become the aggressor, hurting another innocent victim the way she was hurt. Rape is bad; murder is worse. The knowledge of what she has done to her child will haunt her long after she has healed from the rape. Studies have shown that the majority of women who abort a child conceived in rape regret it, while none of the mothers who choose to give birth do (see links below).

In the case of incest, abortion allows the molester to cover up the evidence of his crimes and continue his abuse. It is often the molester who pushes for abortion.

I agree 100%. Abortion should not be used as birth control. If you don't want a baby, do some precautious efforts, like take the pill and use condoms. If you absolutely cannot afford a baby, don't have sex!!!

I feel the best opinion to have on abortion is to not have one. I say mind your business and let the person decide what kind of situation and what is right. You wouldn't want anyone making decisions for you, right? I'm not pro-choice or pro-life. I am pro-situation. Everything is a situation and every situation is different. And other people's personal situation and none of your concern or mine.
