Where would you classify Alex Lifeson from Rush as far as great guitar player go?

in the top 30 easily. Alex is technically one of the best, but he lacks soul. He is almost robotic. Still I rate him in the top 30 of all-time.

i am guessing from all your other questions about rush that you are a pretty big fan! rush is pretty cool, but all their songs kind of sound the same.
