The article says:

Connelly states that there’s a lot of literature about the one child policy in the United States, and very few writes pay attention to the connection between the adopted orphans and the policy that china has. He also says, “America’s pro-life activist have been one of the only organized groups to give attention to this subject”

I am thinking that the quoted piece that i put above could be a fallacy because he shows no evidence that they are one of the only groups that pay this one child policy adoptions any attention. If you have any suggestions let me know thanks

Well here's a California newspaper article which says:
"The one-child policy and easy availability of sonogram technology to determine fetal gender have prompted many families to abort girls, and other couples give up girls for adoption abroad so they can try for a son."

Read the article for futher discussion China's baby situation.

Note that this article was picked up from the Associated Press. I don't see any mention of a connection to American pro-life activist groups.

And here is an article from the Canadian press (Toronto Star) which quotes:
"As a result of China's one-child policy, there have been many children available for adoption; and they are relatively healthy, says Ito Peng, a University of Toronto sociology professor and director of Asia Pacific studies at the Munk Centre for International Studies."

No credit to American pro-life forces in this article either.
