The official religion in the UK is "Church of England" which is a type of protestant Christianity close to the Episcopalians in the US. However, most people in the UK do not follow any faith at all. They are mainly agnostics.
The national dish of the UK is supposed to be Chicken Tikka Massala, a type chicken cooked in a spicy sauce. Other Indian-style dishes such as Biryanis and Kormas are very popular as well - most of the restaurant industry in the UK is run by Indians and Pakistanis, so their cuisine has taken over the country.

Actually believe it or not the most common meal in the UK is Curry, Vindaloo in particular!! I'm quite odd as I don't like curry. At breakfast a lot of people like a fry, that is egg, sausage, bacon, etc. The UK is very secular with around 7% going to church etc. Christianity both Protestant and Catholic is the biggest religion, there is also quite a large Muslim population.

If you will try www.columbiagazetteer.org you will find information on any country, even the U.K. Quite frankly, their economic model is similar to ours, they have the same foodstuffs as we do and they have similar religious persuasions. They do have the church of England. Anyway, good luck!
