I think he can carry the load. The giants do need a 3rd down back to catch balls out of the backfield but i think jacob looks like the real deal, he remind me of a young Jerome Bettis. Of course considering all the injuries in the nfl, having 2 back is almost a necessity now. Sure would make fantasy football a lot easier if jacobs carries the load. also Im not sure how his blocking is coming around, cause usually tiki was in there in passing situations.

Draft a RB or hit the free agent market. Jacobs runs so high and takes a whole lot of hits. He will eventually get hurt during the season if they give him 20 carries a game.

Brandon Jacobs looked very good last year but I don't think it would be smart for him to carry the full load. Last year he had only 150 touches and is not used to double that. The Giants have expressed interest in Willis McGahee and i think that would be a perfect fit for the Giants. McGahee is much like Tiki Barber and would fit well with the team

There are a TON of RBs in the FA (or wanting trade) this offseason so I think the NYGs would rather give a bit of extra money to someone who's proven themselves (atleast somewhat) as a starter (or close as some are from 2-back systems) than gamble on Jacobs who's built like a LB anyway......he's probably going to be a short-yardage/goalline guy his whole career.

The only guy on their radar who they'd take over Jacobs and actually got less carries than him, is Michael Turner outta SD ---he's proven he could easily start on most teams in the NFL. Size of a brusier at 5'10" 237, but with "burner" speed. I hate to see him go, but if the Chargers can get good tender from someone signing him I'm all for it.

With Willis McGahee begging to get out of Buffalo, and Ahmad Green being up for free agency, and a slew of running backs coming out of the combine, i'm thinking they should do a little of both.

Dont get me wrong, Jacobs is really good, but i dont think he's an "all game long" kinda guy like Tiki was.

Oh i think they should draft, if there isnt a good draft then you go to the free agent market, but i would try to go with drafting a RB

They could pick up Corey Dillon and use a two RB system...McGahee might be a troublemaker in the locker room...not to the point of TO, obviously...but he publicized his displeasure of being on the Bills...His work ethic has also been questioned by the Bills...

Ray Lewis is starting to be previous, and would not do promptly head on tackles as lots. maximum in all danger what might ensue is the two considered one of them will in basic terms wreck into eachother, the two falling down. And Ray Lewis gets credited with a handle.
