1) Very serious about stopping Illegal Immigration
2) For the reduction of government (truely conservative)
3) For protecting the Judeo-Christian Ethics base that the country/constitution was based on (ie sanctity of marriage)
4) Pro-Life (no inbetween, ifs ands or buts)
5) Hawkish, pro gun
I think morality is the overal key. When the party lines break morality will prevail. I don;t feel that there are many conservatives out there...mostly liberals and moderates.
I want someone who will continue to protect out country and will continue the mission if needed so that our, the troops, sacrifices are not without closure. Not 100% impressed with anyone so far

1. The candidate must believe that the Constitution is the supreme law of the land and is to be followed. This inlcudes:
2nd Amendment - the candidate must be in favor of individual gun ownership.
10th Amendment - The candidate must understand that anything not specifically put into the federal governments hands is left to the states respectively. Including public education and 90% of everything the fed currently handles.
The Constitution stipulates that, "No state shall . . . coin money, . . . or make anything but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debts. Thus he should:
2. Favor the repeal of the Federal Reserve Act.
3. He must understand that abortion is murder and favor outlawing it altogether.
4. He should be smart enough to realise that Islam is at war with us and has every intention of destroying us unless we destroy them first.
That's enough, I'd vote for that guy.

1) Must adhere to the Constitution. If the candidate does this, the next four steps pretty much follow.
2) Must recognize that Roe v. Wade is unconstitutional and declare it null and void (Marbury v. Madison, 1803)
3) Must repeal the Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act, etc.
4) No amendments *defining* marriage. Marriage is already one man, one woman--the government should not try to define marriage itself.
5) Pro-gun

I would say Integrity first of all, a man or woman of your word! Your morality as defined by me and not someone else! Ideals and what you can do for me, not for some one else but me! If you are against taxing me to death or if you want to give away what I have worked hard to get! Leadership, not caving in because others don't like you!
