your at a lot higher risk when you have twins you should go to labour and delivery because usually women that carry twins have a higher rate of going into labour earlier on. So you should if it was braxton hicks it wouldnt be consistant. Hurry go!

I had a lot of Braxton-Hicks contractions with my twins for quite some time before I had them (36 weeks, 4 days). If you have any concerns you should call your doctor because if they are real contractions they can stop your labor, but not if you wait too long. Remember that labor and delivery is used to people coming in with false labor and they won't think you are stupid. It's best to be safe for your babies' sake if you have any concerns.

I have twins and I was having the same problems like you but it was when i was 5 1/2 months and I went into full labor. They had to keep me for 2 weeks in the hospital and stop the labor because if the babies would have been delivered then they would have had many complications and problems.
Go the the hospital and just get checked out.
Good Luck

That definitley sounds like Braxton Hicks contractions, but if you have more than 4 or 5 in an hour you are supposed to call your dr or head to the hospital. You may be beginning preterm labor. Call right away....I am going through similar things, but not with twins.

As I am sure your doctor or midwife told you that twins increase the risk of preterm labour. You may be in labour or you may be having Braxton -Hicks contractions. Generally speaking "true" contractions get longer stronger and closer together, while B-H contractions stay the same.

I am also pretty sure that your doctor or midwife asked you to contact them anytime you may think you may be in labour since you are carrying twins. So go call now...

Best of luck and I'll cross my fingers that you are not in labour!

Sounds like contractions, but could just be Braxton-Hicks. Drinking lots of water can help get rid of B-H contractions. If they continue, or get closer together you'll probably want to give your doc a call.

I want to start out by saying call or go see your doctor. If your Dr says there is nothing to worry about then please try to relax. I would get myself right to a comfy bed, lay on my left side with a pillow between my knees, watch tv, and drink lots of water.

I too experienced BH contractions, and my stomach would get really hard for about 60-90 seconds. It kind of felt like I couldn't breathe.

If the well-being practitioner says the infant is measuring at 32 weeks and you have been uncertain of the date of your final menstrual cycle, it may desire to intend which you're unquestionably 32 weeks pregnant and not 30 weeks such as you theory. in case you know for specific while your LMP became, and the well-being practitioner stated you're measuring a sprint bigger, it may desire to easily mean which you're bigger than the common female measures at 30 weeks. reckoning on the guidance you already know (like LMP or date of theory) it may desire to intend those 2 issues. while you're worried which you have gained too a lot weight or in contact with reference to the infant being too great, point out it on your OB/GYN. i do no longer think of you have something to rigidity approximately! sturdy luck and congratulations! :)
