About a year and a half ago, I started to pluck my eyebrows (I am fifteen). I have never had very thick or dark eyebrows, and I sort of regret plucking them in the first place. I actually had a nicely shaped eyebrow naturally! Anyway, I have always dreamed of having these amazingly shaped, thick, groomed eyebrows, however I know that since naturally they are thin that will not happen. Are there any tricks to getting close to that? Is there any way to stimulate the growth of the hair so that they will start to grow back? Please answer to the best of your ability. Thank you.

PS. I stopped plucking my eyebrows yesterday.

Glad to know you stopped tweezing.
Try using Rogaine on your brows. It is supposed to regrow hair and is also supposed to work on eyebrows. Until they grow back, buy an eyebrow pencil and fill in where you want them. My brows don't grow the way I want so I use a pencil by Lorac that works really well. Just use little feather strokes until they look they way you want.
Good luck!

Well the only advice I can give is to grow them back, but keep the stray hairs always groomed under your brow. Don't tweeze the top of your brow. You can help it along with a great eyebrow pencil that is soft. I would recommend department store brands like Chanel. If your brows are medium brown, then get a great medium brown eyebrow pencil and start with short strokes. The short strokes make the eyebrow look natural and not drawn in. As far as stimulating growth on your eyebrows, use Vitamin E oil and Omega 3 oil on your brows every night. That should help.

One thing, you shouldnt pluck every day. To stimulate their growth, (ok this is going to sound wierd but it works!) Get some cheap volumizing conditioner and aloe vera. Get about a dime sized of both and mix together with your fingers. Then rub from the start of your brows, to the end. DO NOT RUB THE OTHER WAY! then get a warm washcloth and rub the mixture off. In the morning, use an eyebrow brush and fix as usual.

Let them grow out, stop plucking for a while. If you have some patches missing hair, fill it in with eyebrow pencil close to the shade of your hair. In time the brows will grow back, you just have to be patient.

Don't pluck anymore. Go to Body works or your favorite cosmetic counter and they can show you how to plump them up with brow powder. Do not use a pencile. You don't have to buy their expensive powder. You can go to Walmart and buy some after they show you how to apply it. Get them waxed occasionally at the hair salon for $9. If you ever pluck again, follow your natural arch.

Actually, there IS something you can do to make them grow quicker. The french company TALIKA sells products to stimulate hairgrowth--for both brows and lashes. But once you've grown them out, use these tips to create the brow of your dreams:

Yes! There is this eyebrow kit by Anastasia, it is amazing! You can get it at Ulta or Sephora. It includes a stencil so that you can get them perfect to your liking! You can make your eyebrows look as thick as you like, even if they are thin!

You are gonna have to let them grow back in without the tweezers. Meanwhile you can become an expert on penciling them in. I would suggest loreal eyebrown pencils.
