the only thing i wear is mascara and eyeliner. i have porcaline skin which makes my face look pale and soft i want to do something about it but everytime i see a girl with powder on her face you can see it. should i leave my skin a lone

Leave it lone. You sound beautiful. I DONT find tan that attractive at all.

You can always enhance your looks...What I would do is buy Prescriptives makeup in the department store. They will blend a sheer type makeup base that will be exactly your skin tone.If you go darker in the foundation it will look like an orange mask because of your light skin. Make sure you use a good day cream under your foundation with SP15 or 30 in it. Make sure your eyebrows are well groomed. Then use a beautiful eyeshadow, soft beigy neutral looking, dark brown or navy eyeliner and navy or brown/black mascara. What will help you take away that whitish bland look is a beautiful delicate sheer blush in a pinky peach, and then top that with a light pinkish highlighter. Revlon makes a great highlighter. Check out Ulta.com and Sephora.com Then as spring and summer is coming, purchase a soft beautiful color bronzer...make sure it is not too dark for your porcelain skin, otherwise it will look orangy...I would get help in the department store with your bronzer. Then I would put on a beautiful peachy pink lipstick with a lighter lip gloss over it and you my dear young lady will be ready to go. Good Luck...

If your skin is like that, you should get a light bronze tan-natural. Go out to the beach or whatever, it won't take long. You should do this because you can pull ANYTHING of with light bronze skin. Eyeshadow and mascara look good with a basic tan and doesn't make you look cheap.
If you're not planning on getting a tan, then leave your face alone. Bare Essentials has nice makeup you should try, because it is light and natural. A lot of makeup from Bath&Body Works is really good too!

Its not a matter of "dont wear makeup" if you know how to do it right you wont look fake and skanky.
I dont think you should use a lot of color because you have a pale face and you dont want to look fake. If your skin is clear then theres no reason to even use powder .. if you need to because you break out then you have to try different powders to find whats right for you and make sure its the right color so you dont get that tan face and white neck effect.

Don't go for a powder...if you your skin is translucent and pale, go for a peachy stain. You can get lip stains at Sephora, that double as a cheek stain. I personally don't like putting powder all over my face, and lipstain (or cheek) has a more natural flush to it. Experiment with it! If that does not work, try the old lipstick trick, one dot on the apples of your cheeck, and then rub in. It's always worth a shot. If you don't wear any lipstick, because it's too much for you, try a simple lip gloss. Again, Sephora has some great non-goopy stuff, or you can just go for some colored chapstick, like Burt's Bees. I swear by that stuff..Have fun!

If you don't have any problems with your skin then NO! and definatly dont use base or foundation if there is nothing to cover up or you'll look like an oompa loompa! lol So just to excentuate your skin tone. Get some covergirl compressed powder that is a tad, just a tad, darker then your skin tone. Because if its lighter, you'll look dead and have dry skin.

U should wear all tons of make up but if u want just rub the powder and it will look fine

try a light liquid foundation (i LOVE clinique). also try a lighter pink shade for your lids and a pretty pink gloss. stick with the mascara, just try not to use too dark of a mascara, it will make you look..scary. lol! good luck!

The more you mess with your skin, the worse it gets! If you want darker looking skin, use bronzer or something.

if you see people with powder on their face that means they put too much on. if you want to put some on put a little on, not a lot. either way you will be who you are!
