Corrupt being the operative word, President Bush's administration. Nixon was paranoid, and used some real bad judgment, topped with worse judgment by ignoring the courts. He did however have the common thread of a republican president, arrogance. He also thought he was above the law. President Bush on the other hand is a dangerous man in the highest position of power in this country. He has willfully ignored our open southern border, has invaded another country, an act of war, kicked the constitution to the curb, spied on American citizens without a warrant, and is trying behind the back of Congress and America's citizens to create a North American Union which would put an end to the United States of America, we would no longer be a sovereign country.

Don't wanna throw Kennedy, Johnson and Clinton in there do you. Your question implies that these were the only corrupt administrations in the past 40 years, when you know damn well that is not true. The Clinton's pre, during and post Presidency are one of the most corrupt administrations ever. Johnson was far more beholden to Big War than is G-Dub. And every one loves to talk about Prescott Bush and his Nazi ties but then give a pass to Joe Kennedy. Richard Nixon was a great President, he got caught spying on his political opponents and paid the price for it. Political espionage is as old as politics. How do you think the Democrats found out about Foley's indiscretions. Politcal spies. How do you think politicians get exposed for all there misdoings, political spies. The leftist spies did a great job with Nixon, its something the rights couldn't do with Clinton, so props.

Historically, Nixon didn't do that bad of a job as president, he was just a lousy campaigner and sore loser.
You can't have a decision on Bush yet. His ideas and policy haven't had time to be digested historically. Although there are a lot of people (not the majority) ready to hang him, they really don't know what has happened in the presidency. It's mostly speculation, unhappy Liberals and campaigners spewing hate at this time.
Your question cannot be answered logically, this puts you in a free for all situation. I say the true question should be: Who was the worst between Carter and Clinton?

This should not even be a question. Nixon was a dime store amateur compared to Bush. This administration is BY FAR the most evil and corrupt of any in the history of the United States. They barely even make an attempt to hide it anymore.

If you want to be technical, Bush actually suffers from more corruption than Nixon. Bush led a country into an unpopular war. Nixon inherited an unpopular war and decided to make profit off of it. Bush passes no government acts that actually aid the people. Nixon passed several acts that were actually very good for our nation as a whole, and one could go as far as to say that he overall had a positive effect on our country for that reason. Nixon spied on anyone who entered the white house. Bush passes acts that spy on all of us. Nixon used a war to get reelected. Bush used a war to get reelected and make a handsom profit. Nixon began pull us out of Vietnam. Bush pours troops into Iraq like water. Who's more evil? Bush.

I would probably say Nixon...followed by Clinton. The verdict is still out on the current Bush administration as anti-Bush fanatic's unsubstantiated allegations and accusations don't amount to corruption.

Bush.
A big difference though is that when the Nixon people were not committing crimes, they were doing many positive things.

Actually Reagan's administration had more members convicted of felonies than any other administration, if memory serves.
To answer the question, I would say Bush. I doubt that Nixon let industries write the regulations for themselves.

Actually, it was the Clinton administration. Clinton was impeached, Nixon resigned at the request of his own party. Republicans hold their own accountable-Dems never do. It's always the "vast right wing conspiracy. A lot of Clinton cabinet members had legal problems, as well as the first lady. At least Pat Nixon was a lady.
