I have no problem with it winning best picture (even though Sunshine and Iwo Jima were both better), my problem was with it's Best Director win. Babel was shot sooooo much better and was robbed. Why? Because it was "Scorsese's year". Give me a break.

I think it deserved to win. Great cast, great director. It was definately on my top 10 list of movies from 2006.

I didn't either! I went to see that movie in the theatres and thought it was ok until the ending. I love Martin Scorsese and all but that movie SHOULD NOT have won....

i wanted it to win. babel was too much like crash and little miss sunshine was ok but deffinately not the best movie of the year
