A school child could respolve the Iraqi war issue. The solution is to LEAVE, PERIOD.
BUT, to explain what I'm ASKING, the Dem's are stalling for more time for the Republicans to do whatever it is that they set out to do in the first place. By not offering any sort of ideas as to how to exit Iraq, the Reps get to point fingers and say the Dems have no ideas so it will be business as usual. The STUPID masses will think "Hey, at least the Dem's are trying to get us out!" WHAT A JOKE.
The Dem's are stalling FOR the Republicans. They take turns doing one another's dirty wirk while YOUR CHILDREN pay with their LIVES.
I am so sick of THE STUPID MASSES who tolerate the OUT AND OUT LIES from our elected officials. THEY MAKE ME SICK TO MY STOMACH. In fact, I am beginning to wonder if most people are truly STUPID.
What do you think?

Anyone with a brain knows we shouldn't have been there in the first place. It had NOTHING to do with 9-11.

The democrats are not campaigning any longer - they are now face with the difficult realities of this war.
The media jumped all over the stories of the UK pulling some of their troops out of Iraq, but they seem to have missed the UK's latest decision to deploy more ground troops in Afghanistan.
I am convinced that allowing the terrorists any type of perceived victory is absolutely not in our best interest, and such a move will only delay the inevitable. This demented ideology of hate and domination must be squashed - once and for all.
The democrats know this, the republicans know this - and the best solutions to this mess are apparently a hell of a lot more complex than simple campaign promises.
The democrats have to get off the median strip - either support the damned war or pull the troops out. The nonsense of emboldening the enemy with non-binding resolutions and anti-war rhetoric is indeed sickening.
Support the war or stop the war, but, for the love of God, DO SOMETHING !

I think the dems are too hung up on the lies Bush used to get us there. We shouldn't be in Iraq, but complaining about it won't help (although an impeachment might!). The dems need to grow a backbone. They're afraid that if that call for an immediate withdrawal, they will lose support. Whether they can come up with ideas or not is not the issue. They need to get the courage to say what needs to be said and do what needs to be done.
I say we go with the Iraq Study Group.

Nice rant, but I think you have to ask, how is stay the course working, how many Iraqi have got to die by us being there. The democrats have offered many plans only to be shot down by the President. He has chosen to stay the same failed course only escalating it to be on steroids. I hope it works but have serious doubts. I would think if we start drawing down the troops that the Iraq government would know that we mean business and become more responsible for their own country.

To me it's like getting my car fixed and while the mechanic is working on it some whiny liberal outside is heckling him as he turns every bolt saying how he can fix it faster and with less expense and I ask them how and how much and they won't tell me. They just continue with the heckling. I'm a Conservative Independent and I don't mind voting for a Democrat (except Hillary the Anti Christ) but I would say to them, Tell me SPECIFICALLY what your plan is, how you would execute it and how you would pay for it or SIT DOWN AND SHUT THE F*CK UP!!!!

The Democrats and Republicans and Independents together can not come up with a plan that will work in Iraq. They are in a Civil War. It is not solvable by outsiders.

The Dems have only had one plan and that is to regain power by any means necessary. Beyond that they have been clueless and most destructive.

The Democrats know what they are doing. It's all a plan. Democrats are very cunning, deceiving, and CLEVER.
They want us to LOSE.
You'll see the Big Picture in 2008.
(And maybe, you'll even understand it.)
