Unless you have medical training, I'd be surprised if you could detect it yourself.

It is possible for women to feel their uterus later in pregnancy, and it is perfectly safe to feel it. However, it's not easy if you haven't done it before. I have tried the same method, (lying on my back, pressing my abdomen gently). I read about in Sheila Kitzinger's book on pregnancy and childbirth. I haven't been able to feel it yet. I am at 11 weeks and I am definitely showing a bit.

With practice you could probably tell even at an early stage, but it will become more obvious later. If you are interested, ask your doctor or midwife for a demo so you know how to feel it.

You typically won't be able to feel or see your uterus until you're further along. Early on in pregnancy, something the doctor will push on your cervix to access the size because it's not visible on it's own. I'm sure everything's fine. It's probably just some bloating and your body moving its weight around. Not to worry.

I couldn't either, and I think it was because I had an "inverted uterus" - they saw it on ultrasound. Basically the uterus is folded backwards and stays deep in the pelvis, and only when the pregnancy is larger does it flip forward.. they said that 1 in 5 women have inverted uteri, if I recall correctly, and it's unlikely to be a problem.

the ingredient is its very complicated to be responsive to what you are able to sense from the exterior my mid spouse saved asserting to me sure uterus in simple terms precise impressive curve on the main stunning yet each time i attempted to sense, i could no longer sense something. the perfect ingredient to do is see your midwife in case you're sixteen weeks and in the united kingdom you're due for a examine up now and that they could reassure you and remember in the week or so which you will start to sense toddler flow and that sounds such as you have wind in the beginning up and there is not any longer something extra reassuring than a stable kick in the ribs to be responsive to toddler is nice. stable success.

First off I want to say CONGRATULATIONS! and what you are experiencing is completely normal although you cant see the changes in your uterus it' is growing every day. So in the mean time continue to eat healthy, keep up with all prenatal appointments, ask question at your prenatal visits, and buy more comfortable clothing.

Your uterus does not rise up above your pubic bone until you are 12 weeks and even then you probably wont be able to feel it. I could not tell were my fundus was until I was 20 weeks when it was at the top of my belly button.

The only way to feel it at this point is for the doctor to put his fingers inside you and press your uterus upwards, then you could feel it. It's still very small at this point; about the size of a small pear. My doctor did this for me when I was pregnant with my first child.

You are fine. You won't be able to feel your uterus for another coulpe weeks. Your body is growing slowly right now, that's why your clothes don't fit right anymore. Nothing is wrong. This is how pregnancy goes.

Too early sweetie. Just wait, you will see protusions in the third trimester.

Prior to that is the thickening of your waist and so forth. It all happens to pop out around your 5-6 month.

Then you will not be able to see your toes.. Enjoy, enjoy enjoy!!!
