61 year old, Diabetic, I am for it, it will probably never effect me, it is to late for me. However any chance at curing this horrible disease should be explored. I am also not limited too, it can help other people like spinal cord injury's and Parkinson's to name a few. I honestly think the government, (that's you and I) should help fund this research for the good of man kind.

this could be a loaded question without lots of the info. There are in certainty many varieties of stem cellular study occurring at this very 2nd. There are grownup stem cells and non embryonic stem cellular study that have garnered a great variety of fulfillment and is at present funded by utilising the government. Then there is Embryonic stem cellular study that is going on which has been fairly a sadness to researchers and the government would not fund it. White female grownup.

I'm for the research just as long as embryos aren't created just to be killed for the stem cells. That's something straight out of China or Nazi Germany. I would rather see them kill rapists, pedophiles and murderers and extract the cells from them.

I think that it is alright so long as it is taken from the placenta or before the cells begin to specialize. I think that the cells taken from the fetus should be ones that the mother is planing to have an abortion.
