Don't forget the current President George W. Bush was a cheerleader. As far as softball goes they have a national fast pitch championship for men, it was won 10 times by a team the played where I used to live, The Clearwater (FL) Bombers.

Men typically play softball, so it does happen later in life. Schools tend to tell boys they can't play softball or cheerlead.

because softball is the girl version of baseball.but some older guys play softball. and also some guys do cheer lead but it takes a lot of guts because they don't want to be made fun of.

Some do..my boyfriend played two years with his buddies on a softball team. Cheerleading on the other hand...I guess too many people associate that with cute girls in short skirts! (kinda not a guy thing)

well isn't softball specifically for girls? Are boys allowed to play softball, i dont think so. But as for the cheerleading thing, some boys DO cheerlead. But LOTS of other boys think that if you cheerlead and you are a boy then you are gay.

Guys do play softball! My husband is on a softball team & my unc is a coach for a softball team....they also let woman play!!
I would say they dont like it cuz ...its not as fun as Baseball!!
& usually guys that cheerlead r gay!!!

Softball is considered a girls and old man sport. It is a sport either played by girls in school or old men playing in bar and recreation leagues. Either way, they are not considered rigorous manly sports.
There are boys who cheer lead and are on pep squads in high schools. Of course my theory is that the guys who joining up are either gay or those who are trying to get at girls. LOL

I personatly think that boys dont play soft ball or cheerleading since they dont like jumping around in cheerleading.i think they dont like softball is because it is a girl sport.since boys play baseball why are they going to play softball if there like the same thing.

Guys cheerlead, and there's men's softball leauges all over the country. But most men stick to football, baseball, basketball, and hockey.
