that is a very personal decision that you and your partner/spouse should make! i am bearing my own children now...because i am able but am open to the prospect of fostering/adoption when my children are older. either decision is an important one so it should not be made lightly! good luck to you!

Hmm.. ask a magic 8 ball.. it will know you better than us.
Just kidding.
It's a personal question, something that no one here can answer. Do you even know if you can conceive a child? Do you really have the qualifications and finances for an adoption? These are things no one here can answer for you. You could always do both.

That's very kind to adopt. I plan on having my own children, and after I have my own me and my future hubby will plan if we want to adopt. I would have my own children first, then help out another. I will make sure that their ages are not too far apart either, so they'll all be playmates, adopted or not.

I have had my own. There's something special about having your own baby. It also costs less. Adoption is a wonderful thing, but it's very expensive. It's really up to you, though.

Only you can answer that, but I'd look at one key question: How do you feel about other people's children? I hate other people's children. I don't want them to touch me and I don't want to be in a situation in which I'm responsible for them. I love my daughter more than anything in the world. But that's because she's mine and we've got that deep, instinctual, maternal bond. Other than that, you've gotta think it through on your own.
