When you mix aqueous solutions of HNO3 and H2SO4, what are the products? Hydrogen, nitrogen dioxide and...what? The nitric acid is 16 molar and the sulfuric is 18M.

Two things: wouldn't this be a redox reaction since NO3 is a strong oxidizing agent? Also, I think that NO2 is nitrogen dioxide. Could you please check your answer?

The sulphuric acid protonates the nitric acid, which then loses water.

H2SO4 + HNO3 ----> H2O + (NO2)+ + (HSO4)-.

No hydrogen. No nitrogen dioxide.
