Old injuries will always hurt somewhat. It's very easy to injure yourself in a place that has already been injured previously. The stuff that builds back is never as strong as the original. You may have fractured it again, and it may just be the old injury flaring up. Give it some rest, ice, and a week or so to recover. If it hasn't gotten better, then see a doctor.

That could be the very early signs of an arthritic condition.
Have it checked out by a doctor.

It means that it may be sprained or broke. Best to see a doctor about it.
