Becasue they don't want any responsibility for us leaving and making things so much worse. They want to ride the fence...speak but not act. I kinda wish they would shut up or put up. All talk and no action so far. I put my money where my mouth is everytime I lace up combat boots....where is there gut check moment?

They really want to, but they know that even though many are against the war, they are not against the troops. If they cut funding then the tide will turn on them. We are not quite as polite and naive as we were in the 70's.

Liberals HAVE voted against funding for the war in Iraq. John Kerry is famous for voting FOR the war, then voting against the $87 Billion in additional funding. Yet he was one of the first democrats to complain about lack of body armor afterwards! I guess liberals think that supporting the troops means not voting to give them the equipment to do the job they need to do AND THEN come home.

Murtha, the head of the anti-war front, wants to "slowly bleed" the military into submission by not giving them adequate body armor and weapons.
The American people don't like to lose wars, so the Democrats are disguising defeat with "redeployment" and stopping funding.
And don't say to yourself "They had inadequate supplies going into this war!!", because the military shortage of supplies is from President Clinton.

That would also jeopardize the troops on the ground and no one wants that. It will only be used as a last resort to bring them home where they can protect us and not some people that do not want us there in the first place.

The left wing and the right wing are both wings on the same ZOG plane. Both parties are controlled by the same click. The liberal / conservative choice is a false choice.

Because they are liberals, if they could actually prove they can stand on their feet Gore would have been in power 7 years ago.

Because they know that the Repubs are licking their chops, ready to label such a move as a lack of support for the troops.
And the lemmings will lap it up.
