I love rock, not any specific genre within it, but I tend to listen to alternative rock more than the other subgenres.
You should check out some of these bands if you haven't already.... Evanescence, The Used, My Chemical Romance, System of a Down, Atreyu, Three Days Grace, AFI. And then be sure to put classic rock stuff like Queen, The Beatles, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and Judas Priest on there too!

I like a lot of different music. I usually keep a little bit of everything handy so it fits what ever mood I am in. Pick several songs that seem to fit what mood you might be in. Maybe you have songs you listen to when you are really happy and then different songs for when you are pissed off. Keep a few of all of these songs handy and you will always be ready for what ever "mood" you might be in.

There is a ton of great songs and groups. I love rock/heavy metal! If you like this try Evans Blue, Flyleaf, and Skillet. These are really good bands. Let me know if these work out for you. I think they are awsome!
